Great To Hear From You All ...are you ready to celebrate the Discovery of Puerto Rico Nov 1911/5/2011 We have received great kudos for what we do,Thank you!
Good Evening Mrs Rivera De Ramos, and members of the Puerto Rican/Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. My name is Louis Vega and I am a semi-finalist in the current Police Chief Search. I am interested in obtaining your opinion on the quality of life in the City of Lakeland, Florida. I want to know what you, as the business owners and tax payers of Lakeland, believe are the most pressing issues in the city and how they affect you and the community at large. I also want to the mention that I was pleasently surprised at the tremendous inroads that you have made in the area of Puerto Rican/Hispanic cultural representation. I for one congratulate you and it was a great reading about the float in the recent parade, with Tito Puente Jr. I applied for the Police Chief position because I want to be part of the community, and as a Puerto Rican, help to further what you have begun. Actually, I am a Puerto Rican transplant from the Bronx, New York and born in Isabela, Puerto Rico. Thank you for your consideration of this request and I wish you continued success. Louis Vega More comments: Thank you for those who vist our website and leave us comments. We appreciate! Ana & family, I just wanted to let you know that I am pleasantly pleased with the Puerto Rican/Hispanic Chamber of Commerce's success. I am very proud of you. The last time we spoke was a few years ago at Belk's, and I was working very hard on completing my doctorate degree at that time. Well, I made it. Life has never been the same, so I want to encourage you to keep your eye on the prize! May God continue to bless you, your family, and your organization.
