RUBIO: WE WILL HAVE IMMIGRATION REFORM IF WE CAN SECURE THE BORDER “I think today’s vote is a good sign. It shows there’s strong bipartisan support for solving our immigration problem. At the end of the day, I think it’s all going to hinge on whether we can secure the border and have real security measures to ensure that this never happens again in the future. But what this vote today proves is that most of my Republican colleagues are prepared to vote for immigration reform – as long as we can ensure that we don’t have another wave illegal immigration in the future. So I think it’s a good start, we have some work to do still.”
